The ASEANSAI Commemoration Book is invaluable historical evidence for learning about the facts, achievements, and efforts made regarding ASEANSAI during the pandemic. The Union Auditor General of Myanmar has been appointed as the ASEANSAI Chairperson at the 6th ASEANSAI Summit in November 2021. The ASEANSAI book with the theme “Moving Forward a Better Future of ASEANSAI” reflects the period of 2021 – 2013 Chairmanship of SAI Myanmar.
Although the period accomplished in the COVID-19 pandemic situation, ASEANSAI has successfully passing through the situation by adapting with the new normal. Almost all of the activities changed from face-to-face meeting to virtual or hybrid meeting.
This book also testifies that the ASEANSAI has successfully reached its 12 years of journey since its establishment with the purpose of building capacity and promoting cooperation as well as understanding among the members of ASEANSAI through the exchange and sharing of knowledge and experiences in the field of public sector auditing.
Many historical milestones have been set up as the witnesses of success through the spirit of togetherness with effort, collaboration, and understanding of the ASEANSAI members along the journey.
